- Do I need approval from IT?
- Not for Standard. It is a single line of embed code you add to your own Canvas page, so any educator can have it live the same day. Approval only applies to the LTI integration, which is the institutional path.
- Will this change how my Canvas course is set up?
- No. Thredly sits inside a Canvas page and adds the layer that keeps the page aware of the week. Everything Canvas already does stays exactly as it is.
- Can I move to an institutional deployment later?
- Yes. Most institutions begin with an educator on Standard and grow to LTI when they are ready for progress tied to student accounts and deeper integration. The course you set up carries across.
- How long until it is live?
- About fifteen minutes of setup, then one line of code into your Canvas page. Many educators are live the same afternoon they sign up.
